Jennie G. Jacobson, PhD, CMPP

I have more than 25 years of experience as a medical writer and publication professional and have worked at both pharmaceutical companies and agencies. I find joy and satisfaction in the opportunities for continual learning that come with medical writing.

I am the Immediate Past President of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) Delaware Valley Chapter and a

member of the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP). I serve on the ISMPP Ethics and Standards Committee as Co-chair of the Code of Ethics work stream.

I am an ISMPP Certified Medical Publication Professional and earned medical writing certificates from the American Medical Writer’s Association and the University of Chicago. I earned my B.A at Swarthmore College and my PhD in Medical Sciences from Harvard University. I shared my medical writing expertise with others as an instructor in the Kenyon Institute in Biomedical and Scientific Writing as well as through many professional presentations at AMWA and DIA meetings.
